UNITED STATES — “Palm Angels” rapper Smoove’L rocked the brand he made an entire song about. The Interscope Records recording artist wore a Palm Angels Brown Velvet Track Jacket and Track Pants.

The Brooklyn-native topped off his outfit with a pair of Nike Air Force One Low sneakers.

Rendered in a brown hue, this 90s-inspired track jacket exudes sporty appeal thanks to a ribbed collar, hem and cuffs, striped sleeves, a front zip fastening and two front zipped pocket. Finished with the label’s logo at the chest for a nostalgic retro hint, this relaxed piece is perfect for refining casual lineups.

Palm Angels‘ brown track pants are crafted from ultra-soft cotton-blend velvet for a relaxed, retro feel. They feature sporty beige and yellow side stripes and are punctuated by a white gothic-font logo for a graphic mood.

Prior to inking a major record deal, the 20-year-old music artist emerged in 2019 as one of the standout voices of Brooklyn’s drill scene. His SoundCloud page racked up millions of streams after tracks like “New Apollos” and “Big Mad” became street anthems. He caught the attention of his hometown fans by rapping over signature drill beats, but he doesn’t consider himself just a drill rapper. His music also incorporates melodic flows with raw raps about his experiences in the streets and in life.

I’m not a drill rapper,” he says to Complex. “I would never want to be labeled that. I’m an artist. Before I jumped on a drill beat, I made other songs, other types of songs. I just started trying to get to what my city wanted. Then I brought my own style to it.”
