Beauty News: Serena Williams Is Launching A Cosmetic Line

UNITED STATES — International tennis superstar and fashionista Serena Williams is expanding her forever growing up. She is set to launch a cosmetic line.

It is being reported that the tennis champion has filed documents requesting to trademark the word “ANERES,” or “Serena” spelled backwards. Williams had previously trademarked the moniker but for a clothing line, this most recent filing covers the name in the world of cosmetics.

It appears the venture will include the full breadth of beauty product from skincare and bath bombs to lip gloss and perfumes. According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, she also plans to roll out haircare including regular and dry shampoo as well as styling gels and sprays.
