Gucci Will Cruise To Arles For 2019 Show

FRANCE — Creative director Alessandro Michele will be traveling to Arles for the brand’s cruise (resort) 2019 show. The collection will be presented on May 30 in the Provencal city of Arles, France — and more specifically, at the Alyscamps, one of the most famous Roman necropolises of the ancient world, which is just outside the town’s walls. This is the first that the Alyscamps, which is routinely involved in various cultural initiatives, has hosted an event of this caliber, according to a release.

Earlier today, we posted that Miuccia Prada will show her cruise (resort) 2019 collection in New York (see it here). Last week, we reported that Louis Vuitton will cruise to the French Riviera for their resort 2019 show (see it here). No word yet on the locations for Chanel and Dior.
