LONDON — Northern Irish designer Jonathan Anderson launched his eponymous London-based label in 2008. Today Monday (November 13), it was reported J.W. Anderson’s CEO, Simon Whitehouse will exit the company at the end of year.

Whitehouse joined the brand in June 2014, as the label’s first chief executive. His new position came less than a year after LVMH acquired a minority stake in the house.

Whitehouse confirmed he would be leaving at the end of the year, but declined any other comment. LVMH is understood to be already interviewing potential candidates to succeed Whitehouse.

Sources indicated that the departure was amicable, and came from Whitehouse’s desire for a change of lifestyle.

Whitehouse leaves the company with an excellent reputation. During his four-year reign, he was instrumental in connecting Anderson with major new partnerships.

Prior to joining Anderson, Whitehouse held executive positions at Matthew Williamson and Diesel.
