Selena Gomez Fronts Coach’s Fall 2017 Ad Campaign
Last year, DM Fashion Book reported that Selena Gomenz “signed a huge $10 million deal with Coach to design her own line and become the face of the luxury accessory brand,” (see it here).
Seven months later, the mega pop star fronts the American brand’s road trip-themed Fall 2017 campaign. Gomez poses in the back seat of a car, showing off various Coach bags in the ads. Photographer Steven Meisel lensed the campaign and Karl Templer styled it.
“From the very beginning, the creation of Coach campaigns have been an exciting and collaborative effort,” said Meisel in a press release. “It’s been a pleasure working with Stuart and the team of incredibly talented individuals behind the brand. Inviting Selena Gomez to join the Coach family takes it to another level.”
In addition to the print campaigns, Coach will also debut three short films devoted to its three key bags for Fall 2017 — the Rogue, the Coach Swagger and the Edie. The clips portray Gomez “getting ready in a New York City apartment for a night on the town.”
