Nicki Minaj Inked A Major Modeling Contract With Wilhelmina’s Celebrity Division

Queens get the money! Southside Jamaica Queens native Nicki Minaj just inked a major modeling contract.

The multi-platinum female rapper turned fashionista just signed to Wilhelmina’s celebrity division.

Minaj is no stranger to fashion. She was once the face of luxury house Roberto Cavalli, and has been shot by iconic fashion photographers including Mario Testino and Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. By joining Wilhelmina she opens up the door for even bigger opportunities.

A couple of weeks ago, Minaj slayed Paris Fashion Week. We spotted her at V magazine‘s dinner (see it here), the Haider Ackermann Fall 2017 show (see it here), the Balmain Fall 2017 show, Rick Owens Fall 2017 show, and H&M Studio Fall 2017 show (see it here).

Minaj told Vogue, “I love the synergy between my music and how it inspires my fashion. My message is always celebrating your own style.” She added, “I’m thrilled and honored to have signed with Wilhelmina—they get me.”
