Model Alexis Chaparro By Anthony Meyer

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Boxer turned international model Alexis Chaparro styled in a pair of denim jeans, Calvin Klein underwear and a white beater in his latest photoshoot.

The images were lensed by photographer Anthony Meyer.

Chaparro‘s fashion story began with an exclusive for Versace that catapulted this Puerto Rican model to stardom. Then came Willy Chavarria, Jacquemus, Moschino, and Burberry. Top campaigns include the Steven Meisel lensed ad for the H&M/Moschino collab and Riccardo Tisci‘s Burberry.

The New York-native walked the runways for some of fashion’s biggest brands, starring in editorials, and gracing the covers of menswear magazines. Chaparro also happens to be a 3x national boxing champion.

He grew up in Ridgewood —a neighborhood in Queens. His father taught him how to box, and the inspiration quickly became an obsession. His mother saw his potential and enrolled him in NYC Cops and Kids boxing club, which became so much more than a gym.
