HARLEM, NEW YORKTeyana Taylor is gearing up for the release of her upcoming third studio album.

The project, simply titled The Album, will arrive in June. The R&B songstress has also released the striking cover art, photographed by Daniel Sannwald, which features a topless Taylor in a Grace Jones-inspired pose, while covering her breasts and wearing a gold neck ring.

The Album marks the long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s critically-acclaimed K.T.S.E., which was produced by Kanye West in Wyoming, and spawned the top 10 R&B smash “Gonna Love Me,” plus a remix featuring Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah, Method Man, and Raekwon.

Unlike K.T.S.E.The Album features production outside of Kanye West. “This one is a little bit of everybody,” Teyana told Elton John on Apple Music last year. “I want to kind of explore a little bit more, get a couple more people involved, to really, really bring to life my vision, and not just be set on one set person, or one set sound.”

The project has already spawned tracks including “We Got Love” featuring Ms. Lauryn Hill, for which Teyana released a self-directed video in March. Prior to that, she dropped the King Combs-assisted “How You Want It? (HYWI?)” and the Kehlani collaboration “Morning.”
