Jordan Brand Presents Air Jordan 6 “DMP”
UNITED STATES — Nike Inc. owned Air Jordan (Jordan Brand) is set to release the Air Jordan 6 “DMP” later this month. This Defining Moments Pack-special last dropped in October 2019 with an anticipated drop of January 2020, introducing the sneaker as a homage to the original AJ6 that came as part of the 2006 Air Jordan “DMP” pack alongside an Air Jordan 11.
For its 2020 retro, Jordan Brand keeps things as original as can be with an upper sporting the traditional black and gold colorway. Smooth suede is used throughout the upper, with rubber and foam coming together to give the tongue support. Terry cotton has been used for the sock liner, completing the blacked-out look.
Contrasting the dark upper are the numerous hints of gold, appearing prominently on the tongue with the highlighted Jumpman logo embroidery, as well as on the rear, where the heel tab comes in chrome gold and the “23” logo is stamped alongside more Jumpman embroidery.
Rounding out the homage-making pair is its icy outsole, which highlights the unique shapes penned by Tinker Hatfield when this shoe was designed in 1990. The Air Jordan 6 “DMP” is set to release on April 18 for $200 USD
