LONDON — Former Spice Girls signer turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham launched her eponymous fashion label in 2008, and almost a decade later, she is still here. Over the years, Beckham grew her business slowly, becoming an international, well-respected fashion mogul. In other words, she built a fashion powerhouse.

The former English singer turned businesswoman also collaborated with Estée Lauder (see it here) and Target. Her collaboration with Reebok is set to launch in 2018.

It was just announced that Victoria Beckham Limited, the group that controls the label, announced that it received a £30 million (about $40 million) investment from London-based private equity firm Neo Investment Partners in exchange for what The New York Times calls “an undisclosed stake in the business.” In a release, the company discussed that this seven-figure contribution will be used to take its business to new heights, including expanding its digital and brick-and-mortar retail presence and launching into new categories and collaborations, as well as moving its company headquarters to a larger West London space next spring.

Victoria Beckham is one of the most exciting entrepreneurs I have the pleasure to work with,” said David Belhassen, founder and managing partner of Neo Investment Partners, in a statement. “She is an inspiration to millions of women around the world and she has built a unique, differentiated luxury brand with a strong identity and very high potential.”
