Former Yahoo Style Editor Sarah Cristobal Joins InStyle

InStyle‘s EIC Laura Brown has hired former Yahoo Style editor Sarah Cristobal as the publication’s new executive features director.

She’ll start on January 17, will report directly to Brown, and will be responsible for spearheading editorial initiative and collaborations, booking and directing fashion and celebrity features, and overseeing lifestyle content.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Sarah to InStyle,” Brown said. “We’ve worked together for years – she has a great understanding of the celebrity and fashion worlds, and a unique ability to make things happen.”

In the past Cristobal was an editor a V magazine, and worked at Diane von Furstenberg, AOL, StyleList, and Style.com.

Cristobal was part of Yahoo Style up until February 2016, when she began freelancing full-time for titles like Bloomberg Pursuits, WSJ. Magazine, and Harper’s Bazaar.
