Vans is tapping into its heritage while pushing craftsmanship forward with the unveiling of the Premium Authentic 44 “Floral Needlework.” The release reworks one of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes, blending its skate DNA with elevated, handcrafted detailing.
Built on a lightweight yet durable canvas upper, the Authentic 44 arrives with intricate floral needlework that brings a refined, artisanal touch to the classic low-top. The design goes beyond standard embroidery, incorporating wood bead accents and custom lace charms that add depth and texture against a clean white, red, and blue color palette. Traditional cotton laces and metal eyelets keep the silhouette grounded in its original form.
Underfoot, Vans upgrades the comfort experience with modern construction. The sneaker is fitted with a Sola Foam ADC (All-Day Comfort) insole, made with at least 30% plant-derived biobased PU foam, delivering improved cushioning for everyday wear. Staying true to its roots, the vulcanized sole features a higher glossed sidewall, ‘90s-inspired foxing tape, and Osnaburg-reinforced outsoles, all finished with the brand’s signature waffle tread for reliable grip.
