New Balance continues to build momentum in football, officially welcoming Jalen Milroe to its growing roster of talent.

The Seattle Seahawks quarterback steps into a hands-on role with the brand, contributing to wear-testing and the development of future football products. Milroe will work closely with the New Balance product team, offering direct feedback while also appearing in both performance-driven and lifestyle campaigns.

Speaking ahead of the announcement, Milroe described the partnership as a meaningful alignment. He emphasized the brand’s genuine interest in his identity beyond the game, noting that early conversations focused on his values, interests, and long-term vision—an approach that ultimately solidified the connection.

Before entering the league, Milroe built his reputation as a standout at Alabama Crimson Tide, where he spent two seasons as a starting quarterback. His achievements extended beyond the field, earning him the William V. Campbell Trophy—often referred to as the “Academic Heisman.” He was later selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Milroe now joins a diverse New Balance lineup that includes names like Coco Gauff, Shohei Ohtani, Gabby Thomas, and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone—further signaling the brand’s cross-sport influence.

The signing arrives as New Balance deepens its presence in American football. The company recently secured a long-term partnership with the New England Patriots, integrating its branding across Gillette Stadium through in-stadium placements, digital channels, and year-round activations.

As part of the agreement, a new performance facility—the New Balance Athletics Center—will debut alongside the stadium, with adjacent practice grounds named the New Balance Practice Fields. The brand will also serve as presenting sponsor of Patriots Training Camp and collaborate with the New England Patriots Foundation on community-driven initiatives.

With Milroe now in the fold, New Balance’s football ambitions are becoming increasingly clear—blending performance innovation with cultural relevance at every level of the game.
