Malik Nabers Debuts Nigel Sylvester x Avirex “Brick” Jacket
New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers recently brought an unreleased collaboration into the spotlight, stepping out in the Nigel Sylvester x Avirex ICON “Brick” Jacket during a pregame tunnel walk.
The BMX star and Avirex have teamed up to reimagine the brand’s iconic leather jacket with a design that blends New York streetwear heritage with Nigel Sylvester’s personal story. The jacket features a cream-colored leather exterior, ribbed cuffs and hem, and a relaxed bomber silhouette. Nabers styled the piece open over a white T-shirt, finishing the look with a chain.
A standout detail appears on the chest, where a red patch featuring a brick-inspired graphic and the word “Brick” connects the design to Sylvester’s creative world.
However, the most personal element is hidden inside the jacket. The satin lining features a poem embroidered in red and signed by Sylvester. Beginning with a reference to his grandmother’s driveway, the poem reflects on the different chapters of his journey with Jordan Brand, adding a personal narrative to the collaborative design.
The interior also features Avirex branding alongside its signature 1975 mark, paying tribute to the New York label’s longstanding heritage.
While Nabers has already given fans a first look at the collaboration, official release details remain unconfirmed. Avirex and Sylvester have yet to announce pricing, availability, or whether the jacket will receive a limited retail release.
