Multi-platinum recording artist Future has been announced as Louis Vuitton’s newest brand ambassador, officially joining the luxury house as a “Friend of the House” under men’s creative director Pharrell Williams.

The appointment further expands Williams’ growing community of “LVers” and reflects Louis Vuitton’s ongoing commitment to spotlighting influential talent across culture, music, and fashion. In a statement shared with WWD, the house described the partnership as part of its “unwavering dedication to recognizing and celebrating talent across cultural landscapes.”

The collaboration feels like a natural evolution. The Atlanta native attended Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2026 men’s show in Paris last June and made a standout appearance at the 2025 Met Gala wearing custom Louis Vuitton by Williams. This year’s gala theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” aligned seamlessly with both Future’s aesthetic and the brand’s menswear direction.

Future and Williams also share a creative history. The rapper previously collaborated with the designer on the 2014 hit single “Move That Dope,” appearing alongside him in the official music video, which has since garnered more than 58 million views on YouTube.

According to Louis Vuitton, Future “embodies the core values of the house, including creativity, artistry, and a pioneering spirit that resonates with international audiences.” The brand added, “His unique style and creative vision make him an invaluable addition to the Louis Vuitton family.”

While specific details about Future’s role have not been disclosed, Vuitton said it “eagerly anticipates an inspiring and innovative journey” ahead. He joins a roster of current Friends of the House that includes Jude Bellingham, Tyshawn Jones, and Tahar Rahim.

Future’s influence in fashion extends well beyond the front row. In 2023, he made history as Lanvin’s first-ever guest creative director, leading a collaborative collection under the Lanvin Lab label that spanned ready-to-wear and accessories for both men and women—further cementing his impact at the intersection of music, culture, and luxury fashion.
