Carhartt WIP Fall/Winter 2026 Campaign

Carhartt WIP Fall:Winter 2026 Campaign2

Carhartt WIP takes a backward approach to storytelling for its Fall/Winter 2026 campaign, turning cause and effect on its head.

Directed by Alex Acy, the campaign film unfolds in reverse, tracing a series of seemingly disconnected moments back toward the event that set everything in motion. Rather than building toward chaos, the story begins with its aftermath and gradually works its way toward the source.

The result is a deliberately unconventional sequence where time moves backward and every action appears to precede its cause. Small moments gradually accumulate, creating a sense of unpredictability as the narrative shifts between drawn-out scenes and bursts of fast-paced action.

Adding to the campaign’s offbeat energy is an unexpected cast of characters and objects: three friends, a dog, a car, a sofa and several cans of paint. Each plays a role in the chain of events, contributing to a visual narrative that feels increasingly chaotic as the film moves closer to its beginning.

With its reverse chronology and carefully timed direction, Carhartt WIP’s Fall/Winter 2026 campaign puts a playful spin on the idea of cause and consequence, transforming everyday moments into an unpredictable sequence of events.
