Projected No. 1 pick AJ Dybantsa is already making major moves off the court. Months before the 2026 NBA Draft, the 19-year-old standout has signed a multiyear professional endorsement deal with Nike—officially elevating his previous NIL arrangement into a full-scale partnership.

Fresh off a dominant freshman season at Brigham Young University, the 6-foot-9 forward chose to remain with the Swoosh despite increased competition from rival brands. Dybantsa pointed to Nike’s long-term belief in his trajectory, aligning himself with signature legends like Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and Kobe Bryant.

On the court, Dybantsa delivered one of the most impressive freshman campaigns in recent college basketball history. He led BYU to a 23–12 record while averaging 25.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game, earning First Team All-American honors and Big 12 Freshman of the Year. Even in a first-round NCAA Tournament exit, he showed his star power with a 35-point, 10-rebound performance.
