Air Jordan 8 “Chrome” Returns This Month for Fall 2026

Jordan Brand is bringing back one of its most sought-after non-original Air Jordan 8 colorways. The Air Jordan 8 “Chrome” is officially set to return later this month as part of the brand’s Fall 2026 lineup, marking its first reissue since 2015.
Originally introduced in 2003, the “Chrome” quickly developed a loyal following thanks to its sleek, understated aesthetic. For 2026, the silhouette returns with a shape and construction designed to more closely replicate the original release.
The sneaker features a premium black nubuck upper, accented by chrome detailing across the signature strap buckles and midsole. Grey accents appear throughout the design, including the chenille tongue patch and mudguard, creating a clean monochromatic finish.
Classic Air Jordan 8 design elements remain intact, including the iconic crossover straps and perforated overlays across the upper. The colorway’s predominantly black-and-grey palette also complements the silhouette’s enduring ’90s basketball aesthetic.
The Air Jordan 8 itself remains closely tied to Michael Jordan’s championship legacy, having debuted during the 1992-93 season as Jordan captured his third consecutive NBA championship with the Chicago Bulls.
The Air Jordan 8 “Chrome” is officially scheduled to release on August 29, 2026, for $215 USD at select Jordan Brand retailers and through Nike SNKRS.
With its combination of classic basketball heritage, understated styling and a more accurate retro shape, the “Chrome” is poised to be one of Jordan Brand’s standout releases for the month.
