Awake NY has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2026 collection — a high-impact offering anchored by a collaborative Air Jordan 6 and bolstered by statement outerwear that feels tailor-made for New York’s ever-shifting seasons.
While the forthcoming AJ6 is already generating anticipation, the apparel tells a story just as compelling. Awake goes all-in on print, embroidery, and spliced iconography, remixing visuals from NYC-based artist Omi. Known for blending pop culture with sharp satire, Omi’s airbrushed artwork lands on outerwear in bold fashion — including a green jacket stamped with a Che Guevara portrait, a blue shell marked by a skull graphic, and a red iteration featuring an image of Jesus.
Outerwear takes center stage through a reworked partnership with The North Face, as classic shell jackets become canvases for expressive, gallery-worthy statements. In a city where layering is practically a sport, these pieces feel less seasonal and more essential.
Color drives the emotional tone of the collection. Aqua, bubblegum pink, violet, and turquoise inject a dopamine rush into the lineup, balancing edgier motifs with playful energy. A pink Awake polo channels the structure of a football jersey, complete with shoulder icon detailing, while a turquoise hockey jersey commands attention with an oversized NY insignia at the chest and a split logo across the back.
The bottoms hold their own. Logo-stamped pant legs, retro color-blocked panels, and double-knee construction elevate the everyday uniform. As for the headline sneaker, the collaborative Air Jordan 6 is expected to arrive later this year in “Midnight Navy,” with whispers of a “Playful Pink” colorway also in circulation.
