Saint Laurent Pre-Fall 2026 Collection

Saint Laurent unveils its Pre-Fall 2026 collection through a seductive mix of gilded lace, slit skirts, leather, plush shearling, and sharply tailored silhouettes. The collection continues the sensual direction established by creative director Anthony Vaccarello, offering a wardrobe of provocative, immediately wearable looks designed for everyday allure rather than the runway fantasy.
Speaking from Paris, Vaccarello described the pre-collection as an exploration of practicality without sacrificing attitude. “For me, a pre-collection is more about thinking about what feels wearable,” he explained. “These are the kinds of clothes I want to see my friends wearing.”
The designer drew inspiration from Yves Saint Laurent’s haute couture collections of the 1990s, revisiting an era of unapologetic glamour and sophistication that stands in stark contrast to today’s muted wave of quiet luxury. Instead, Vaccarello leans fully into sensuality and confidence, two ideas that continue to define his vision for the House.
Sheer black stockings and elongated silhouettes remain central to the collection’s aesthetic, though this season the designer intentionally embraced shorter hemlines and more exposed legs. Vaccarello joked that longtime muses like Rosé and Zoë Kravitz often altered his longer designs, prompting him to rethink proportions before they could.
One of the collection’s standout moments is the return of the iconic Smoking tuxedo, reimagined with tailored bermuda shorts. The look references Yves Saint Laurent’s revolutionary reinterpretation of men’s eveningwear in the 1960s while feeling entirely modern through Vaccarello’s lens. Styled with a cream pussy-bow blouse, sheer stockings, and glossy patent heels, the result is unmistakably sharp, sensual, and distinctly Saint Laurent.
