Pharrell Williams Takes Louis Vuitton to the Slopes for 2027

Louis Vuitton to the Slopes for 20274

Louis Vuitton is heading into the mountains with Pharrell Williams’ latest menswear offering, the 2027 Men’s Ski Collection. Blending technical innovation with the French fashion house’s signature luxury, the collection draws inspiration from ’90s skiwear, delivering a wardrobe designed to transition effortlessly between the slopes, city streets and après-ski gatherings.

Built around oversized silhouettes, technical outerwear and insulated essentials, the lineup places performance at the forefront without sacrificing style. A Monogram Macassar parka arrives with coordinating ripstop-panel trousers, while a denim-effect ski set incorporates corduroy detailing for a distinctive twist on traditional alpine gear. A snowboarding hoodie featuring a fleece lining and integrated ventilated faceguard adds another functional layer to the collection.

Technical details are woven throughout the offering. Water-repellent, PFAS-free materials are complemented by waterproof closures, targeted ventilation and dedicated compartments for essential items such as phones and ski goggles. Adjustable trouser systems designed to accommodate snowboard boots further reinforce the collection’s emphasis on functionality, bringing performance-driven features into Louis Vuitton’s luxury design language.

Away from the slopes, Pharrell shifts toward a more relaxed interpretation of mountain dressing. A shearling trucker jacket features a trompe-l’œil denim print, while a fleece jacket recreates the appearance of traditional cable-knit knitwear. The mountain-inspired LV Summit pattern appears on an intarsia blouson, joined by snowflake jacquards, Monogram Argyle motifs and an LV Skier graphic across select pieces and accessories. The LV Frost Ski Mask adds another statement accessory to the winter lineup.

Eveningwear receives its own alpine-inspired treatment. A loden jacket crafted from double-face wool and metallic Lurex threads captures the shimmering appearance of freshly fallen snow. Paired with cotton corduroy trousers finished with Monogram satin turn-ups, the look offers a sophisticated alternative to conventional après-ski dressing. Scarves, beanies and additional cold-weather accessories round out the collection, extending its visual identity beyond outerwear.

Louis Vuitton’s signature leather goods also embrace the mountain setting. The Keepall 25, Discovery backpack and Trio Messenger are presented in reflective white Monogram canvas, giving the accessories a striking, snow-inspired finish. Meanwhile, the Christopher backpack and Speedy P9 30 feature contrasting treatments in tan shearling and blue suede, introducing rich textures to the house’s recognizable silhouettes.

Footwear continues the collection’s balance of style and utility. Highlights include a water-repellent LV Trainer in glacier-toned nubuck and rubber, shearling-lined variations, rugged LV City Ranger combat boots and debossed suede LV Easy slip-ons. Together, the designs offer options for navigating winter conditions while maintaining a polished luxury aesthetic.

With the 2027 Men’s Ski Collection, Pharrell continues to expand Louis Vuitton’s menswear universe, bringing together nostalgic references, technical construction and contemporary streetwear sensibilities. The result is an alpine wardrobe that moves beyond performance gear, positioning ski style as an extension of the house’s broader approach to luxury fashion.
