New Balance continues to push its MADE in USA lineup forward with the arrival of the 990v4 in a rich “Olive” colorway. Known for its restrained approach to design, the Boston-based brand subtly breaks tradition here by extending the olive tone beyond the upper and into the ENCAP-cushioned midsole—an uncommon move that delivers a more cohesive, tonal finish.
The silhouette is dressed in premium olive suede overlays, giving the shoe a grounded, earthy presence. Matching the overlays, the olive midsole creates a seamless visual flow rarely seen within the 990v4 lineage. Crisp white leather underlays and breathable white mesh panels cut through the darker tones, adding contrast while maintaining balance across the upper.
Classic New Balance heritage details remain intact, including reflective 3M hits on the signature “N” logo, heel tab, and toe box. Designed under Teddy Santis’ Spring/Summer 2026 MADE in USA vision, the release highlights the 990v4’s ability to evolve while staying true to its roots.
