Ms. Lauryn Hill and Her Children Star in Denim Tears Denim’s SS26 Campaign

Denim Tears is bringing back its DENIM TEARS DENIM program for Spring/Summer 2026, anchoring the release in themes of heritage, intimacy, and generational storytelling.
At the center of the campaign is Ms. Lauryn Hill, joined by her children—Zion, Selah, Joshua, John, Sara, and Micah—in a rare, deeply personal visual narrative. Shot by Liam MacRae, the imagery captures the full scope of the collection while emphasizing family as both muse and message.
The SS26 rollout reintroduces the brand’s original denim program while layering in new design language. A standout addition is the Jacquard Cotton Wreath finish, applied across core pieces like the Trucker Jacket, Baggy denim, Bucket Hat, Denim Cap, and Tote Bag. Also new this season is a faded, distressed “dirty wash” treatment in light blue, landing on Trucker Jackets as well as Straight Leg and Baggy silhouettes.
Fabric remains at the heart of the collection. Signature pieces are crafted from heavyweight 14 oz denim in both Light Wash and Dirty Wash variations, with wear patterns that nod to vintage Americana. For unwashed styles, the label turns to a lighter 13 oz Japanese selvedge denim, woven on traditional shuttle looms for added depth and authenticity. Trucker Jackets mirror these fabrications, ensuring cohesion across the lineup. Every garment is cut, sewn, and washed in the United States, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
The DENIM TEARS DENIM SS26 collection released April 17 via the brand’s webstore, as well as in-store at Africa Diaspora Goods in New York and the Denim Tears Atlanta location in Lenox Square.
