After a breakout freshman season at the University of Miami, Malachi Toney is stepping into a new lane—this time in fashion.

The rising wide receiver made his presence felt on the national stage during the College Football Playoff National Championship, where he torched the Indiana Hoosiers football for 10 receptions, 122 yards, and a touchdown. It was a defining performance in what became a record-setting year.

Toney closed out the season with 109 receptions, breaking both Miami’s single-season program record and the ACC freshman record. He also tallied 1,211 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns, quickly evolving into the Hurricanes’ most reliable weapon in the passing game down the stretch.

Off the field, Toney is building just as much momentum. Already holding an NIL deal with Leaf Trading Cards, the Florida native has now added a major fashion co-sign to his résumé. Toney has officially partnered with Hellstar, becoming the label’s first signature collegiate athlete.

The Los Angeles-based brand is making a bold entry into the college football space, tapping Toney as the face of its latest sports-driven campaign. With his on-field dominance and growing cultural presence, the Fort Lauderdale product feels like a natural fit—bridging the gap between performance and style as Hellstar continues to expand its footprint.
