Louis Vuitton’s “In My Bag” Campaign Unpacks the Speedy P9 Through Culture’s Biggest Names

Shot by Thomas Lagrange, Louis Vuitton taps its male ambassadors and Friends of the House to spotlight the versatility of the Speedy P9 in its latest “In My Bag” campaign. Rendered in rich calfskin colorways, the medium-sized carry-all becomes a personal canvas, reflecting the everyday essentials and lifestyles of Jeremy Allen White, Jude Bellingham, Future, LeBron James, Jackson Wang, and Victor Wembanyama.
Each figure brings their own narrative to the silhouette. Jeremy Allen White leans into his understated, alternative aesthetic, filling his green Speedy P9 with everyday staples like a newspaper, spiral notebook, cap, comb, watch, and charging cord. LeBron James, meanwhile, uses his yellow iteration to house a mix of grooming essentials and downtime favorites, including shaving cream and his signature cap.
Victor Wembanyama’s aquatic teal version, accented with a Monogram alien charm, carries a deck of cards and wired headphones, while Jude Bellingham’s bold red bag is packed for life on the move—aviators, a passport and plane ticket, an official jersey, and personalized keys. On the music front, Future loads his cobalt blue Speedy P9 with a tennis racquet, gold chain, gummy candies, and an extra pair of sneakers. Jackson Wang rounds things out with a playful pink version, complete with a fuzzy dice charm and a mix of hi-fi headphones, a Polaroid photo, and a Rubik’s Cube.
Originally introduced in the 1930s, the Speedy remains one of Louis Vuitton’s most iconic travel silhouettes, rooted in the House’s heritage of fine leather goods. Reimagined under Pharrell Williams for Men’s Spring/Summer 2024, the updated Speedy P9 takes its name from Paris’s Pont-Neuf—where Pharrell debuted his first collection. Crafted from double-tanned calfskin and finished with drum milling, the bag delivers a butter-soft, waxy texture that reinforces its elevated yet functional appeal.
