JW Anderson Reimagines UGG Classics With Loafer-Inspired Designs

UGG x JW Anderson13

JW Anderson and UGG are teaming up for the first time, bringing together experimental design and everyday comfort for a footwear collaboration that puts a fresh spin on two of UGG’s signature silhouettes.

The collection introduces the UGG x JW Anderson Loafer and Loafer Boot, reworking the brand’s iconic Tasman slipper and Classic Boot through the lens of designer Jonathan Anderson. Blending the casual appeal of a slipper with the refined details of a traditional penny loafer, both styles feature exaggerated rounded toes, contrasting box stitching and distinctive loafer-inspired accents.

While the designs introduce a more unconventional aesthetic, UGG’s signature materials, cushioned construction and emphasis on comfort remain central to the collection. Available in Chestnut, Khaki and Orange, the footwear delivers a playful alternative to everyday staples, reflecting JW Anderson’s ongoing exploration of proportions, textures and familiar design codes.

“UGG is instantly recognizable, and I was interested in viewing something so familiar through the JW Anderson lens,” said Jonathan Anderson. The designer also explained that his interest in the loafer extends beyond footwear, with the silhouette and its defining details influencing accessories and ready-to-wear pieces from his namesake label.

British musician and producer Dev Hynes, widely known as Blood Orange, fronts the campaign accompanying the release. Styled by Anderson himself, the imagery places the musician in a domestic setting, highlighting the connection between personal style, everyday routines and comfort.

The partnership further strengthens UGG’s presence in the fashion space, following collaborations with brands and designers including Willy Chavarria, Palace and sacai.

The JW Anderson x UGG collection launched globally on October 15, 2026, through both brands’ websites and select retailers.
