JAŸ-Z is officially stepping back onto the live stage in a major way. Following the announcement of his Reasonable Doubt-themed headlining set at the Roots Picnic, Roc Nation has revealed that the Brooklyn icon will host two historic hometown shows at Yankee Stadium this summer.

Set for July 10 and July 11, the back-to-back concerts will celebrate two of his most defining albums. The first night honors the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt, while the second marks 25 years of The Blueprint—a rare dual tribute to the projects that helped cement his legacy.

The announcement carries extra weight given how selective JAŸ-Z has been with live performances in recent years. His appearances have been limited to high-profile moments, including Tom Brady’s Hall of Fame induction in 2024 and the Grammy Awards in 2023. His last full-scale solo tour dates back to 2017, while his most recent major run came alongside Beyoncé on the On the Run II tour in 2018.

The stadium shows arrive amid growing anticipation around the anniversaries of both albums. Fans have been closely tracking subtle moves from the rapper, including the temporary switch to “JAŸ-Z” on streaming platforms—a nod to the original Reasonable Doubt era branding. He’s also reintroduced classic material, adding the original version of “Dead Presidents” to streaming and releasing the “Wishing on a Star” video featuring Gwen Dickey.

Before taking over Yankee Stadium, JAŸ-Z will headline the 2026 Roots Picnic from May 30–31, reuniting on stage with The Roots for the first time in over a decade.

While rumors of a new album have been circulating—fueled in part by comments from Cash Cobain—JAŸ-Z has shut down speculation for now, making it clear that no new project is on the horizon anytime soon.

For fans, the focus remains on the music that built the empire, now set to echo through one of New York’s most iconic venues.
