Druski Set To Host the 2026 BET Awards

The 2026 BET Awards officially has its host, and BET is handing the mic to one of comedy’s biggest breakout stars. Druski will lead this year’s ceremony, which airs live Sunday, June 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
With the announcement, Druski becomes the youngest host in BET Awards history, surpassing Kevin Hart, who previously held the title.
“It’s an honor to be the youngest host ever for the BET Awards,” Druski shared in a statement. “I grew up watching the BET Awards and, to know the comedic legends that hosted before me set the bar so high, I’m just grateful to be a part of the history. But I’m still bringing my brand of comedy to the stage, so expect a little chaos, a lot of laughs, and some of your favorite Druski characters to pop out along the way.”
BET executives are equally excited about the selection. Connie Orlando, EVP of Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy at BET, praised Druski’s cultural impact and comedic voice, saying his ability to connect with audiences feels “fresh and deeply rooted in culture.”
Louis Carr, President of BET, added that partnering with Druski reflects the network’s commitment to spotlighting a new generation of comedians who are reshaping entertainment and audience engagement.
The ceremony will be executive produced by Connie Orlando, while Jesse Collins Entertainment returns as the production company behind the show. Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay will also serve as executive producers.
The 2026 BET Awards will simulcast across BET HER, CMT, LOGO, MTV, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount, POP, VH1, Comedy Central and TV Land.
