Corteiz Previews Three Nike Shox R4 Colorways in Upcoming Collaboration

Nike’s Shox R4 is preparing for another moment in the spotlight, this time with London-based streetwear label Corteiz. Originally introduced in the early 2000s, the distinctive running silhouette has maintained its place in Nike’s footwear archive with its futuristic design and signature column-based cushioning. The model received renewed attention in 2023 when designer Martine Rose introduced her own collaborative interpretation. Now, Corteiz appears ready to put its stamp on the iconic sneaker.
The upcoming collaboration is expected to feature three colorways, with the “Silver Surfer” edition recently teased on Instagram. The preview showcases custom Corteiz branding pressed into the sneaker’s molded side panels, while Nike’s recognizable four-column Shox cushioning system remains a defining feature of the design.
Two additional colorways are also rumored to be part of the release: the all-black “Black Widow” and a royal blue edition reportedly named “Mystique.” While official details surrounding the full lineup remain limited, the trio could bring a fresh streetwear perspective to one of Nike’s most recognizable early-2000s silhouettes.
Beyond the footwear, Corteiz and Nike are also reportedly preparing an extensive apparel collection to accompany the sneakers. The anticipated lineup is said to include track jackets, track pants, an AeroLoft vest, Pro base layers, jerseys and shorts. Many of the pieces are expected to coordinate with the color palettes of the three Shox R4 editions, creating a cohesive collection that extends beyond footwear.
Neither the complete collection details nor an official release date and pricing have been confirmed. For now, the initial teaser offers a first look at what could become another notable collaboration between Nike and one of London’s most influential streetwear labels.
