Bastien Daguzan Out as Fear of God CEO

Bastien Daguzan is stepping down from his role as CEO of Fear of God, less than two years after taking the position at the Los Angeles-based label.
The French executive officially assumed the role in September 2024, following a period as a strategic consultant to founder Jerry Lorenzo. During that time, Daguzan worked closely on brand architecture, leadership alignment, and global growth strategy.
When he was appointed CEO, his mandate focused heavily on expanding brand awareness, strengthening international distribution, and elevating the company’s e-commerce operations to improve accessibility for a global customer base.
In a statement, Fear of God confirmed it has eliminated the CEO role entirely as part of a broader organizational shift.
“We recognize the effort that supported the progress of the business, including key initiatives, through 2025,” the brand shared, without directly naming Daguzan.
The statement continued: “Our responsibility extends beyond the successes and failures of the tangible. We are committed to an eternal vision guided by alignment, intention and consideration. We are grateful for everyone who has contributed to moving Fear of God closer to the vision and purpose of the organization. We remain clear in our direction and focused on the path ahead.”
A graduate of La Sorbonne and the Institut Français de la Mode, Daguzan brings a deep résumé in luxury fashion. He previously led the brand of Kris Van Assche and served as CEO of Lemaire from 2013 to 2017, where he helped launch its long-standing partnership with Uniqlo.
He later spent five years as general manager of Paco Rabanne while consulting for Jacquemus, eventually joining the latter full-time in 2022 during a period of rapid growth before departing less than two years later.
Founded in 2013 by Jerry Lorenzo, Fear of God now moves forward with a restructured leadership model as it continues to refine its long-term vision.
