Balenciaga and Jean Paul Gaultier Debuts Lead Paris Haute Couture Week Fall 2026 Schedule

Paris Haute Couture Week is set to deliver one of its most anticipated seasons in recent memory, with major creative debuts at Balenciaga and Jean Paul Gaultier leading the provisional Fall 2026 couture calendar unveiled by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.
The spotlight will firmly be on July 8, when Pierpaolo Piccioli presents his first couture collection for Balenciaga at 11:30 a.m., followed later in the day by Duran Lantink’s highly anticipated debut for Jean Paul Gaultier at 5:30 p.m. Both presentations mark significant new chapters for two of fashion’s most influential houses.
Running from July 6 through July 9, the four-day schedule will feature 30 couture presentations. Schiaparelli will open the week on July 6, while veteran couturier Adeline André will close the event on July 9. Longstanding couture pillars including Dior, Chanel, Armani Privé, and Elie Saab will once again occupy key positions throughout the calendar.
The upcoming season will also welcome several notable newcomers. Indian designer Manish Malhotra, celebrated for dressing Bollywood’s biggest stars and recent Met Gala appearances, will make his Paris couture debut with an evening presentation on July 8. Also joining the official lineup is Standing Ground, the London-based label founded by Irish designer Michael Stewart, recipient of the Savoir-Faire Prize at the 2024 LVMH Prize. The brand will present on July 6.
Several houses have shifted to new time slots this season, including Imane Ayissi and Germanier, while familiar names such as Iris Van Herpen, ArdAzAei, and Adeline André return to the official calendar after limited appearances in recent years.
Notably absent from this season’s schedule are Gaurav Gupta, Julien Fournié, Phan Huy, and Miss Sohee. Valentino will also sit out the July couture week, continuing its strategy under Alessandro Michele of presenting a single annual couture collection.
Beyond Paris, the couture calendar confirms that Maria Grazia Chiuri’s first couture presentation for Fendi will take place in Rome on the evening of July 9, adding another highly anticipated moment to an already packed couture season.
With landmark creative transitions, emerging talents, and the return of couture’s biggest names, Paris Haute Couture Week Fall 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most closely watched fashion events of the year.
