Adon Shuler Covers the Summer 2026 Issue of D.M. Fashion Book

As one of the rising stars of Notre Dame football, Adon Shuler has built his reputation through discipline, leadership, and relentless energy on the field. The Fighting Irish strong safety emerged as a cornerstone of Notre Dame’s defense after starting all 16 games in 2024, and he elevated his game even further during the 2025 season. Playing in 12 games with 11 starts while serving as a team captain, Shuler finished second on the team with 53 tackles (30 solo, 23 assisted), added two interceptions, two forced fumbles, three tackles for loss, and ranked third on the team with five pass breakups. His season was highlighted by a career-high 11 tackles and two tackles for loss in a win over USC, along with interceptions against NC State and Boston College. Away from football, however, Shuler is embracing another passion: fashion.
For the Summer 2026 Issue of D.M. Fashion Book, Shuler stepped in front of the camera for a streetwear-inspired editorial photographed by Kevina Mae at Nula Studios in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Inspired by the style culture of New York City and New Jersey during the summer months, the story blends classic East Coast influences with contemporary menswear.
Creative directed and styled by Donovan Moore, the editorial featured a carefully curated mix of streetwear and elevated essentials. Shuler wore camo shorts and hoodies from Vale, paired with graphic T-shirts from Stile De Amor Galleria. Supreme accessories, including a hat and socks, added authentic streetwear touches, while Timberland boots and Rick Owens sneakers grounded the looks with a balance of heritage and luxury.

The wardrobe reflected Shuler’s evolving personal style—one rooted in confidence, authenticity, and versatility.
“My style is constantly evolving, but if I had to describe it, I’d say it’s confident, intentional, versatile, and expressive,” Shuler says. “Fashion has become a creative outlet for me, so I enjoy blending streetwear influences with more elevated pieces to create something that’s uniquely mine.”

For Shuler, fashion provides another avenue for self-expression beyond athletics.
“Fashion gives me another way to express myself,” he explains. “Football is a huge part of who I am, but fashion lets people see a different side of me and how I carry myself off the field.”
His style influences come from across sports and culture, including Stefon Diggs, A$AP Rocky, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jordan Clarkson, Jaden Mitch (Jmitch), Tyrod Taylor, and Grant Delpit—individuals known for pushing personal style beyond conventional boundaries.

That appreciation for fashion has continued to develop throughout his time at Notre Dame.
“Before coming to Notre Dame, my style was mostly centered around streetwear because that’s what I knew and what I was comfortable with,” Shuler says. “Being at Notre Dame exposed me to different people, cultures, and perspectives, which encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone.”

Over time, that curiosity evolved into a deeper understanding of fit, quality, and storytelling through clothing.
“What started as an interest has turned into another way for me to express myself and my creativity.”
Confidence remains the foundation of his approach to style.
“When the outfit feels authentic to me,” he says. “Confidence comes from knowing I’m comfortable in what I’m wearing and not trying to be somebody else.”

When asked about one item he can’t live without, his answer is immediate.
“I would say camo,” Shuler says. “It’s easy to style and it’s a great base color.“

That understated confidence is also what he hopes people notice first.
“I am confident in who I am. I don’t think you have to be loud to stand out. I want my style to reflect confidence, maturity, and authenticity.”

As he prepares for the next chapter of his football career, Shuler remains focused on growth both on and off the field.
“My goal is to help my team compete at the highest level and be the best leader and player I can be,” he says. “Long term, I want to continue building a platform that creates opportunities for others while pursuing success both on and off the field.”

That commitment to creating opportunities extends beyond the football field. This Saturday, June 20, Shuler will host the Adon Shuler Youth Football Camp in his hometown of Irvington, New Jersey, an initiative that reflects his dedication to giving back to the community that helped shape him.
“I’m also excited about my upcoming Adon Shuler Youth Football Camp,” Shuler says. “The camp is all about giving back to the community that helped shape me. My goal is to create a fun environment where young athletes can develop their skills, learn valuable life lessons, and be inspired to chase their goals both on and off the field. Being able to invest in the next generation means a lot to me, and I’m looking forward to making a positive impact through the camp.”

For now, that mindset continues to guide him through every pursuit.
“I’m excited for growth,” Shuler says. “Whether it’s football, fashion, community impact, or life in general, I’m looking forward to continuing to challenge myself and seeing where hard work and my faith takes me next.”
