adidas Football is adding another rising name to its roster, signing Miami Hurricanes wide receiver Malachi Toney to an NIL endorsement deal ahead of the 2026 college football season.

The sophomore receiver joins an increasingly high-profile adidas football lineup that includes Patrick Mahomes, Travis Hunter, Fernando Mendoza and Jeremiah Smith, further strengthening the brand’s presence across both the collegiate and professional levels.

The partnership also deepens adidas’ connection to the Miami football program. Former Hurricanes Rueben Bain, David Njoku and Braxton Berrios are already part of the brand’s football family, while Miami commits Nick Lennear and A’mir Sears were recently selected to adidas’ 2026 adizero NIL Class.

While specific details of Toney’s agreement have not been disclosed, the wide receiver has already been seen wearing adidas apparel following the announcement. There has been no word yet on a player-exclusive sneaker or other footwear collaboration.

Toney enters his sophomore campaign following a breakout freshman season in which he quickly established himself as one of Miami’s most dynamic offensive weapons. He recorded 109 receptions for 1,211 yards and 10 touchdowns, while also contributing 113 rushing yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.

His versatility extended beyond offense. Toney completed 4-of-7 passing attempts for 82 yards and two touchdowns and added 298 punt-return yards, showcasing the explosiveness that has made him one of the most intriguing young players in college football.

The adidas deal is the latest in a growing list of brand partnerships surrounding Toney. Earlier this year, F45 Training and FIT House of Brands announced a collaboration featuring Toney alongside fellow Miami football player Darian Mensah.

With his profile continuing to rise on and off the field, Toney’s addition gives adidas another young, high-impact athlete at the center of college football’s evolving NIL landscape.
