Former NBA star and three-time champion Dwyane Wade is stepping further into the fashion industry, joining REVOLVE Group as Chief Performance Officer for REVOLVE Man and FWRD Man.

The Los Angeles-based fashion retailer announced the appointment as it continues to invest in the growth of its men’s business. In his new role, Wade will serve as the face and strategic advisor for the two brands’ men’s fashion initiatives, helping shape their direction through product curation, brand development, and marketing strategies.

Wade will also bring his perspective to the companies’ expansion plans, offering insight into consumer trends, potential collaborations, and new opportunities across the men’s fashion market. His involvement is expected to strengthen the connection between fashion, sports, culture, and wellness while helping the brands reach a broader audience.

“Style has always been an extension of how I express myself, both personally and professionally,” Wade said. “What excites me about this partnership is the opportunity to help shape how men engage with fashion today. REVOLVE and FWRD understand that modern style is no longer divided between performance, luxury, and everyday wear — it’s all connected. Together, we’re building something that reflects how men actually live, dress, and show up in the world.”

REVOLVE Group Co-Founder and Co-CEO Michael Mente emphasized Wade’s influence beyond basketball and his ability to connect with contemporary men’s style.

“As we continue investing in the future of our men’s business, we wanted a partner who authentically embodies the intersection of sport, fashion, and culture,” Mente said. He added that Wade’s perspective, industry relationships, and vision make him a strong fit to help guide the next phase of REVOLVE Man and FWRD Man.

Throughout his career, Wade has established himself as more than a basketball legend. The 13-time NBA All-Star has become a prominent figure in men’s fashion, frequently using personal style to express his individuality and influence conversations around contemporary menswear.

The appointment also arrives as REVOLVE Group continues to build on its business momentum. In its August 4 trading update, the company reported a 12% increase in quarterly revenue to $347.4 million, supported by double-digit growth across its REVOLVE and FWRD brands and their domestic and international operations.

With Wade now involved in shaping its men’s fashion strategy, REVOLVE Group is looking to further strengthen its position in a market where luxury, athletic influence, and everyday style increasingly intersect.
