Ye Reportedly Prepares to Stage First Yeezy Runway Show in Years

Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, is reportedly preparing to return to the runway with his Yeezy brand, with plans for a fashion show at the label’s newly opened flagship store in Los Angeles.
According to Lauren Sherman of Puck News, sources close to the brand say Ye is planning his first Yeezy runway show in more than four years. The event is reportedly set to take place at the new flagship location on the corner of Beverly Boulevard and Kingsley Drive, following the brand’s recent soft relaunch.
Yeezy has already begun rebuilding its presence, offering a range of basic apparel through its official website. The reported runway plans could signal another step in the brand’s efforts to reestablish itself in the fashion industry.
Footwear is also expected to play a role in Yeezy’s next chapter. Earlier this year, the brand partnered with JD Sports to stock Yeezy Slides and other footwear styles. Ye is also reportedly preparing to release the new Yeezy 800 sneaker ahead of the holiday season.
The silhouette was teased on Ye’s Instagram earlier this year, raising the possibility that the upcoming runway show could serve as a platform for its official debut. The design appears to draw similarities to some of Ye’s previous footwear work with Adidas, whose partnership with the artist ended in 2022.
While details surrounding the reported show have yet to be confirmed publicly, a runway return would mark a significant moment for Yeezy as the brand continues to develop its next phase.
