Thom Browne Heads to Scotland for His Fall 2026 Campaign

For Fall 2026, Thom Browne takes his signature American sensibility to Scotland, turning the country’s rugged landscapes and longstanding textile traditions into the backdrop for the season’s campaign. Photographed by Robbie Lawrence, the images bring together a cast of local residents and friends in and around the hillside town of Birman, highlighting Browne’s longstanding connection to Scottish craftsmanship.

Scotland has played an important role in Browne’s work for years, particularly through his use of knitwear, cashmere and tartan. The designer has maintained his own gray-and-navy tartan with Scottish mill Lochcarron since 2006, making the country a natural setting for a collection deeply rooted in texture and traditional craftsmanship.

Knitwear leads the Fall offering, spanning chunky cable knits, Fair Isle patterns, jacquard, graphic intarsia and patchwork constructions. V-neck pullovers and cardigans reinforce the collection’s collegiate sensibility, while layers of cashmere and merino wool bring warmth and dimension to the season.

The collection also revisits Browne’s tailored vocabulary through a distinctly winter-focused lens. Down-filled outerwear is paired with chalk-stripe flannel, jacket-weight cashmere and windowpane tweed, creating new silhouettes that balance traditional tailoring with technical functionality. Ski-inspired touches, including thumbholes and rib-knit gaiters, appear across zip-front vests, football-inspired parkas and calf-length jackets.

For evening, Browne gives his black-tie wardrobe a similarly playful treatment. Dresses, capes and sharply structured sport coats are elevated with trompe l’oeil effects, open-back closures and pearl-like interpretations of windowpane checks.

With Scotland serving as both setting and inspiration, Thom Browne’s Fall 2026 campaign reflects the designer’s continued dialogue between American tailoring and the heritage of British and Scottish dress. The collection is available now through Thom Browne.
