New Balance Unveils the 992 “Pink Chalk” in a Soft Yet Striking Color Palette

New Balance is expanding its Made in USA lineup with the arrival of the 992 “Pink Chalk,” a refined take on one of the brand’s most celebrated silhouettes. Blending soft pastel tones with bold contrasting accents, the latest release delivers a fresh interpretation of the classic runner while maintaining the premium craftsmanship that has made the 992 a fan favorite.
The sneaker is dressed primarily in Pink Chalk, which covers the mesh underlays, leather paneling, and suede overlays throughout the upper. The monochromatic base gives the shoe a clean and understated appearance, while the mix of materials adds texture and depth to the design.
Adding contrast are Pink Lemonade accents on the eyelets, heel detailing, midfoot branding, and sections of the outsole. Rich Cherry Leather hues appear on the tongue, laces, collar, signature “N” logos, and portions of the midsole, creating a striking balance against the lighter backdrop. Subtle grayscale touches on the heel and outsole help ground the color scheme and provide additional visual dimension.
Signature details remain intact, including “USA” branding on the heel and “992” markings on the tongue and ankle. Performance-focused ABZORB and SBS cushioning complete the design, ensuring the comfort and support that have become synonymous with the model.
The New Balance 992 “Pink Chalk” is currently arriving at select retailers and is expected to launch on New Balance’s official website in the coming weeks with a retail price of $200.
