First Look: Air Jordan 12 “Bucks” Pays Tribute to Ray Allen’s Iconic PE

Jordan Brand is revisiting one of its most coveted Player Exclusive inspirations with the upcoming Air Jordan 12 “Bucks.” Early images reveal a colorway heavily influenced by the legendary Air Jordan 12 PE worn by Ray Allen during his time with the Milwaukee Bucks in the early 2000s.

Originally introduced in 2004, Allen’s exclusive pair has remained a grail among sneaker collectors, and while this upcoming release is not officially tied to the Hall of Famer, the design cues are unmistakable.

The Air Jordan 12 “Bucks” features a premium White leather upper paired with a rich Green mudguard that wraps around the lower portion of the silhouette, delivering a look reminiscent of Milwaukee’s classic team colors. Jordan Brand modernizes the design with metallic Purple accents on the eyelets and midfoot shank plate, while matching Purple branding appears on the tongue.

Although the retail version closely mirrors Allen’s original PE, it forgoes the personalized heel detailing found on his pair. Even so, the sneaker serves as a fitting nod to Jordan Brand’s celebrated Player Exclusive era, a period that continues to inspire contemporary Retro releases.

The Air Jordan 12 “Bucks” is scheduled to release on September 19, 2026, through select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. The launch will be available in full family sizing, with the men’s edition priced at $215 USD.
