424 x Under Armour Tease World Cup Capsule With Global Football Stars

As the countdown to the 2026 FIFA World Cup continues, 424 and Under Armour are making an early statement with a fashion-forward collaboration that blends football culture with luxury streetwear.
Rather than unveiling the collection through a traditional campaign, the Los Angeles-based label and American sportswear giant opted for a more organic rollout, enlisting some of football’s biggest names to debut the pieces on their personal social media accounts.
Among the first to showcase the collaboration were Germany’s Antonio Rüdiger, England’s Ollie Watkins, and Spain’s Ferran Torres, each offering a glimpse into the upcoming capsule. While custom leather jackets served as the centerpiece of the reveal, the posts also teased a broader range of co-branded apparel, including caps, sweatshirts, and varsity-inspired jackets featuring oversized 424 and Under Armour branding.
Adding a personal touch to the collection, each bespoke leather jacket incorporates color schemes inspired by the respective national teams represented by the players wearing them, creating a direct connection to the global tournament.
The collaboration aligns seamlessly with 424 founder Guillermo Andrade’s long-standing appreciation for football and Americana-inspired design. The brand has previously explored the intersection of sport and fashion through pieces such as its Nike R9-inspired cutoff and the Real Madrid “Beckham” jacket. Andrade’s ties to the sport extend beyond apparel, having served as Creative Advisor for the Leagues Cup in 2021 and collaborating with Arsenal in 2019.
Industry speculation suggests the full 424 x Under Armour collection could make its official debut during Paris Fashion Week as part of 424’s Spring/Summer 2027 presentation, offering a closer look at what may become one of the standout football-inspired fashion releases leading into the World Cup.
