Alaïa Officially Launches Denim Category

French luxury fashion house Alaïa is stepping into a new chapter with the debut of its first-ever denim category, introducing Alaïa Denim this week.
Framed as a “study of fit and form,” the collection reflects the house’s enduring design codes—sculptural precision, refined simplicity, and an uncompromising focus on craftsmanship. At its core, Alaïa Denim is designed to enhance the body’s natural shape, offering a modern yet timeless expression of femininity.
The debut lineup features six distinct silhouettes, each engineered with the brand’s signature attention to proportion and structure. The Rounded fit blends barrel and balloon shapes into a sculptural, curved silhouette, while the rigid jean is hand-sanded to highlight volume and dimension. The Bootcut introduces subtle flare at the knee, complemented by curved front pockets and structured patch pockets at the back.
Elsewhere, the Straight jean offers a clean, mid-rise profile that falls seamlessly from the hip, finished with Alaïa’s signature dart detailing. The Palazzo delivers a wide, fluid leg designed to elongate the frame, while the Fit and Flare balances a streamlined leg with a soft, flared hem at the ankle.
Rounding out the collection is the Skinny jean—a second-skin silhouette that channels the house’s iconic approach to body-conscious dressing. With a precise, uninterrupted fit and ankle-length cut, it sharpens the overall line with a sleek finish.
Washes range from vintage blue to deep sea, light dock, and sand-washed tones, all crafted from 100 percent cotton Japanese denim. Each pair is finished with a tonal back patch that mirrors the wash, reinforcing the collection’s cohesive, detail-driven approach.
Retailing between $1,100 and $1,500, Alaïa Denim is now available in boutiques, online, and through select global retailers.
