A vibrant hit of color is breathing new life into one of New Balance’s most elevated runners this spring. Arriving in a striking Grenadine/Fire Whirl palette, the Made in UK New Balance 991v2 “Grenadine” delivers bold energy without compromising the silhouette’s premium DNA.
The upper leads with impact. Rich orange suede wraps the mudguard, eyestays, heel, and side panels, while a deeper orange mesh base adds texture and dimension underneath. The layering keeps the look dynamic, allowing the 991v2’s signature shape to remain front and center rather than getting lost in the color.
Balancing out the warmth, muted grey accents land across the oversized “N” logos, laces, tongue branding, heel tabs, and forefoot overlays. The contrast sharpens the overall presentation, giving the sneaker a more refined and composed finish.
Underfoot, the model stays true to its performance roots. A cream-toned midsole features visible cushioning pods, paired with a dark heel clip and black rubber outsole for structure. A subtle blue FuelCell insert peeks through, adding a technical edge to the otherwise heritage-driven design.
