Jordyn Woods Glides Through NYC In Iconic Dsquared2 Skate Heels

Model, actress, and fashion designer–turned–entrepreneur Jordyn Woods made a statement arrival at New York City’s Madison Square Garden following her engagement to New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns.
Braving the winter chill in unapologetic luxury, Woods wrapped herself in a plush fur coat, elevating the look with a coveted Hermès Himalaya Birkin crafted from matte Niloticus crocodile skin. The ensemble was punctuated by a bold footwear choice: Dsquared2’s legendary “Skate” boots.
Originally debuting on the brand’s Fall/Winter 2011 runway, the Skate boots quickly achieved cult status as a daring collision of sport and high fashion. Inspired by designers Dean and Dan Caten’s childhood love of figure skating in Canada, the design reimagines an ice skate as a razor-sharp stiletto—featuring a structured lace-up boot poised atop a gleaming metallic skate blade. Now reissued as a limited-edition release in celebration of 30 years of Dsquared2, the iconic heels prove that fashion risks, much like Woods herself, only grow more powerful with time.
